Oh my god Monday!
Haha, one person who reads this! Thought that because it was a four day weekend, I’d miss Monday’s update? ‘Fraid not! *swashbucling laughter*
So on Saturday I got my haircut. Not terribly short, about half as long as it was. Just to keep it manageable.
I used my left over cash to buy Morrowind, Game of the Year edition. I’m owning it so hard right now. My guy is up to level 17, and I’ve grandmastered two skills (longsword and speechcraft), and soon I’m going to work on getting to Mournhold. I love this game.
Oh yeah, anyone remember Shayna Miller? Ellis better. The one he had a crush on in middle school. Yeah, she works custodial duties at the place I went and got my haircut at. I said hi, and she said hi, but it was clear she didn’t recognize me, so I prompted her memory. She could barely remember Ellis’ name, but she got it out and knew we were friends.
She kinda looks like a dude. She’s pretty, but kinda dudely.
Went and saw Firewall yesterday. Pretty good movie. Harrison Ford is getting old and fat. It’s starting to show. But if he does one more Indiana Jones like they’re planning, I will build a shrine to him. He ages well.
Well, guess that’s all for the weekend. Nothing so exciting. Sorry.
Catch ya’ll Friday!

Friday? Saturday!
Yeah, sorry guys. Missed the Friday update. I spent the night at Ellis’ house, so I was busy playing fun games.
I finished torrenting Rome: Total War, and I have to say, it was definitely worth waiting. Having an army of 5000 troops going to battle with another army of 5000 troops on the plains of Scotland is something you do NOT want to miss.
I got back with Emily, if anyone didn’t know. We went out on Tuesday evening, and talked. We talked for hours. We found out where we were, and we decided to give it another try. Wish me luck, guys. If there’s anything I want enough to die for, it’s Emily. I love her like no one can possibly understand.
I am greatly looking forward to this weekend; it gives me a chance to kick back, relax, get intimate with computer games, and just enjoy myself. I’m upset, though, because Emily is spending the weekend in Bend, and I would love to be with her.
I really need to get a job, dammit. I know where I’m going to look and where I’m going to apply, but I need the cash to support my desire for a better gaming machine. And be damned if anyone tries to tell me what to do with that money. Dammit, I worked for it.
In any case, I gotta start tearing my PC down and get out of here. There’s work to be done on the old house; we’re expecting the tenant to move in by the first of March.
I don’t want to go back to school yet. With any luck, it’ll snow on Monday night. Dammit, it’s cold enough to.
Respectfully,
IAN
So, Monday has rolled around
Oh man, this weekend was intense. My first weekend after having seperated with Emily.
I discovered a wonderful place in downtown Vancouver (I know, something to DO!) called the Lucid Dream Machine. It’s hard to describe; basically, it’s an underground internet cafe, filled with couches and pretty much every gaming system, as well as pool and some arcade games. It’s intimate, it’s fun, it’s great.
I spent hours there on Saturday with Mary, and again on Sunday.
That was the bulk of my weekend, really… I’m getting used to the freeway, so it’s only a matter of time before I start driving to ninjutsu classes.
I’m thinking about having a LAN party soon. It’s a four-day weekend, but it’s also kind of short notice.
I’ll have to think about it. Who would come if it was this weekend?
Scheduling
So I’ve decided if thing is ever going to update, I need a schedule. So mondays and fridays, my homies, expect to read what I have to say. Friday’s to recap the week and Monday’s to recap the weekend.
I planted a bonsai tree about two weeks ago, and it’s sprouting now. There are two stalks, and they’re both about half-an-inch tall. I’m going to wait until they get bigger, decide which is strongest, and nurture that one.
I wish I had a project to undertake or something, something that I can update you guys on and hopefully have you look forward to. I’ll think of something. In the mean time, you’ll have to live with a basic blog. Poo on you.
So Video Production class. It’s been going pretty well. By the end of next week, we’ll have started filming with the cameras, and I’ll hopefully have some stuff I can put up here. If all goes well. Mr. Blackwell is a cool guy, and I like having him as a teacher, so this class should be great.
In any case, I really don’t have much to say. So.
Catch you on monday, my friends.
